Manel Vidal, born in Spain in 1953, discovered his passion for sculpture early on. Due to a lack of family support, he initially worked in the textile industry. In 1981, he became rector of the "Escuela de Artes y Oficios" in his hometown of La Pobla de Claramunt, but later relinquished this position to dedicate himself fully to his artistic career. His sculptures are characterized by dynamically moving figures, placing humanity at the center of creative expression. Inspired by the great masters of antiquity, he explores the truth and origins of human existence, shaping primordial rock into impressive sculptures full of beauty and expression.
