Manel Vidal, born in Spain in 1953, discovered his passion for sculpture early on. Due to a lack of family support, he initially worked in the textile industry. In 1981 he became rector of the "Escuela de Artes Y ONICIOS" in his hometown La Pobla de Claramunt, but later gave up this position in order to fully devote himself to his artistic career. His sculptures are characterized by figurative representations in dynamic movement and represent people at the center of a creative creation. Inspired by the great masters of antiquity, he researches the truth and origin of human existence, while he forms impressive sculptures full of beauty and expression from veteran.
