Garden sculpture "bulwark", bronze on granite base

The Corry Ammerlaan, born in Alphen am Rhein in 1947, is a sculptor and painter. In her work, the shape of man plays the central role, but in an abstract form, which makes its form compositions all the more meaningful. Its "bulwark" shows that what may be perceived as a ball from afar proves to be more close as a portrait of three human figures, which represent firm cohesion and strength in the community in symmetrical trinity.

Bronze, cast in the wax melting process, elaborately patinated. Sculpture: height 24 cm, diameter 21 cm. Height including granite base 42 cm. Weight 19 kg. Format base 18 x 13 x 13 cm (h/b/t).
