This series shows masked characters that are reminiscent of the tradition of past rituals - without playing on one or the other religion. It is about the search for identity that marks the South American ethnic complexity.

"Anga" means soul in Tupi - the language of several indigenous tribes, the most representative of which is currently Guaraní. The term Guaraní refers to one of the most representative indigenous ethnic groups in America, which as traditional areas are based on a wide region of South America, such as the state areas of Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay and the central part of Brazil.

Luciano Cian was born on July 20, 1973. He comes from São Paulo and currently lives and works in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. At the age of 18 he started oil painting technology. Today his visual art production includes painting, drawing, photography, video and urban intervention. In 2008 he founded the art collective Fuso Coletivo (Cian + Kjá), which consists of interactions between several platforms and artistic languages. The first work of the collective was awarded the award for urban interference in 2008.
