About Andreas Lutherer,

the work of the artist Andreas Lutherer, born in Mönchengladbach in 1962, are shaped by a symbiotic interaction of humans to his environment.

In his photo prints, he only processes a motif that he dissolves in color and structure until infinity. The viewer is stimulated to decipher the molecules of the visual language and to put the motif together again. So everyone takes their own picture.

In 2010 he made a paradigm shift. His oeuvre became more figurative. The new works amaze through amazing effects. It is nature that Andreas Lutherer repeatedly inspires fascinating work. The shadow effect of its detailed motifs arises from several glass levels, which the artist skillfully summarizes in his distinctive technology and in this way creates a depth, the effect of which is simply not evident.

For a long time no stranger, Lutherer realized numerous commissioned work for large companies and regularly exhibits at home and abroad.
