The large -format painting "Dark Light III" presents us with a nightly scenery that we are literally sucked into. The contourless color processes are the result of an elaborate painting process, in which Tatenberg more and more distributes the oil paints until they are interwoven and all traces of the manual faith are blurred. In this way you can become projection surfaces for thoughts, emotions and dreams of the viewers.
"Nothing has to be before it can be - only then is the area inspired," says the artist about her work.

Elisabeth Tatenberg (*1953 in Hamburg) dedicates the color areas very special. In doing so, it transfers real moments of light on the canvas in the sky and thus creates a unique meditative sphere.

"It has to be 'nothing' before it can be 'everything' - only then is the area inspired," says Tatenberg about her work.
The works of Elisabeth Tatenberg were shown on numerous individual and group exhibitions, including in the Kunsthaus Hamburg and on the Kunstpaviljoen Nieuw Roden, Netherlands.
The artist lives and works in the Kunsthaus Hesse Park in Weener.
