Collier "Himmels disc from Nebra" - ready for silver neck

It is said to be over 3,600 years old and is therefore the oldest known representation of the starry sky: The bronze disc, which was excavated in Saxony-Anhalt in July 1999, is now one of the most valuable treasures in cultural history. The Nebra sky disk is a key find for European history. Everyone who looks at this unique find for the first time recognizes the sun, moon and stars immediately. The sky disk is the only object from the earlier time that has such striking references to the sky.

In 2012 it was decided to include them in the "list of nationally valuable cultural assets". The sky disk has been a world heritage since June 2013 - this status has been awarded by UNESCO. In the register of the world documents 'memory of the world', significant records from the history of mankind are collected.
