Inez Froehlich, born in Reichenbach/Vogtland, grew up in an artistically inclined environment, which formed the basis for her later artistic work. After studying textile technology at Chemnitz University of Technology, she initially began working in the private sector. During this period, painting and photography provided a balance to her professional career, which was heavily focused on technology. In 2003, she took the courageous step into fine art and decisively traded her desk for an easel. Abstract, often structured color and form compositions are the focus of her artistic work. She uses acrylic paints, various structural pastes, stone powder, chalk, ink, and other artistic materials. She describes her working method as an intuitive process in which the result is open and can even change during the creation process. Froehlich's artworks have been exhibited regionally and internationally, including in Germany, South Korea, and Switzerland. She has exhibited at Gallery O in Essen (2025), Parnell Gallery in Seoul (2024), and Galerie Schwan in Püttlingen (2022). She has been recognized in publications such as "All-In-Line" (2022) and the "Circle Quarterly Art Review Magazine" (2019).
