Michael Ferner, born in Salzburg in 1969, is a prominent painter, draftsman, and caricaturist who places humor at the heart of his work. His cheerful and lighthearted images are created using a unique technique in which he blows ink across the paper with his breath. Ferner captures the fascination of life and everyday impressions—from airplanes and clowns to corvids—with a precise and humorous eye. His work has been exhibited not only in Germany and Austria, but also internationally in countries such as England, Dubai, and the USA.
