Slow at the forest hem - for the 60th birthday of Neo Rauch
Neo Rauch is an internationally renowned artist, exhibits in the large museums of the world and at the same time has remained closely connected to his home in Leipzig. When the representative of the so -called new Leipzig school par excellence, he plays a special role in the world of art. On April 18, the painter and graphic artist celebrated his 60th birthday. MDR Culture congratulated with an appreciation of his extraordinary work.
On his canvases, the artist experimented primarily with the madness of everyday life and they often call out melancholy with the viewer.

Photography in the Corona crisis-photographer Alec Soth with minivan through Minnesota
In search of some life, the photographer Alec Soth tours in his minivan by the US state of Minnesota and records his own view by the camera lenses, which is left of everyday life after the outbreak of corona pandemic.

Corona-Shutdown: Museums and galleries in Berlin are preparing for reopening
The cultural sector was particularly hard hit by the Corona restrictions. The industry was practically put into deep sleep and many cultural businesses and artists are economically over. Artists say thank you: enchanting light art with drones in China
