As the quintessential representative of the so-called New Leipzig School, he occupies a special place in the art world. On April 18th, the painter and graphic artist celebrated his 60th birthday. MDR Kultur offered its congratulations with a tribute to his extraordinary work.

Artists say thank you: Enchanting light art with drones in China
