On January 10, 2025, the Notagallery with "The Unrequested" and deal with art beyond the borders of market -driven validation.
Art beyond commercial validation
Art has been closely associated with systems of patronage, trade and consumption for some time and has influenced its development and perception from the great orders of the Renaissance to the current algorithmic currents. "The Unrequested" questions this existing paradigm and asks the viewers to think about what happens to art if it exists beyond these contexts.
The exhibition is based on a critical and philosophical discourse and is encouraged by thinkers such as Boris Groys , whose groundbreaking work Art Power (2008) questions the commercialization of contemporary art and calls for creative freedom regardless of institutional and market -oriented influences. Groys' concepts go through the entire exhibition that art wants to position as an autonomous act of resistance, speculation and discovery.

The Unrequested presents creativity as a radical, self -determined process. Each exhibit is opposed to hyper -commercialized views of "value" or "desirability" and opens up a new perspective on the power of artistic expression to question normative limits.
Notagallery invites the audience to think about the ability of art, to overcome external expectations, and promote a dialogue about the role of creativity in a world that is increasingly shaped by consumption and commercialization.
The exhibition will open on January 10, 2025 and run until February 20, 2025. Admission is free. , visit the website of Notagallery or Contact contact us .
