Sculpture “Putto with dolphin”, bronze

Andrea del Verrochio is primarily known to posterity as a sculptor and creator of bronzes. In this field, he held a prominent position in Tuscan art of the second half of the 15th century, alongside his contemporaries and fellow countrymen Antonio Rossellino, Desiderio da Settignano, Antonio del Pollaiuolo, and Benedetto da Maiano.

Sculpture in fine bronze. Hand-cast using the lost-wax process. No pump included. Overall height 75 cm. Weight approx. 45 kg.
