Garden sculpture “Bathing Mermaids”, bronze
Dreamily, the two mermaids watch the shellfish. Their gaze is turned inward. They are unaware of the admiring glances, unaware of the unease they stir with their unsuspecting and exotic nakedness. On their small island, time flows at a snail's pace.
Bronze sculpture, cast using the lost-wax process, hand-chased and patinated. Limited edition of 50 numbered and signed pieces. Dimensions: 19 x 54 x 40 cm (H/W/D). Weight: approx. 11.2 kg.
