Garden sculpture “Enchanting Fairy”, bronze

Fairies have always existed, if one considers ancient cultures as a starting point. And perhaps even longer. As small, winged beings related to flowers, they appear in Shakespeare, and their first major role was played in Victorian England, when children's books were teeming with them.

Incidentally, their second wedding is happening right now: hardly a little girl can resist their fantastical charm. A ladybug emerges from the book our nature-loving fairy is currently leafing through.

Bronze edition, cast using the lost-wax process, hand-chased and patinated. Dimensions: 14 x 10.5 x 29.5 cm (H/W/D). Weight: 1.5 kg. Stone not included.
