Gilded sculpture “Ginkgo 3 Leaf” by Kuno Vollet

German sculptor Kuno Vollet unites the seemingly incompatible in his sculptures: For his abstract objects, he uses heavy and solid materials such as bronze, brass, or steel. Yet he constructs them so skillfully that they appear dynamic and almost weightless. The works are always perfectly balanced and radiate harmony and tranquility. Vollet finds inspiration for the forms of his sculptures both in nature and in Transcendental Meditation, which he has practiced for many years. With these influences, he creates sculptures that stand as symbols of infinity and perpetual transformation.
