Sonja Edle von Hoessle's "Endless Loops" are created from precisely machined steel components. The steel sculpture presented here, with its gold-leafed surface, resembles a delicate piece of jewelry.

Everything is in motion: In Sonja Edle von Hoeßle's oil paintings, the paint seems to flow, the element of water becomes almost tangible. One senses nature and landscapes, yet, much like in a dream, the contours remain blurred. The paintings, with their relief-like surfaces, appear dynamic and organic, almost alive. The artist developed her own unique painting technique to achieve this visual effect, applying multiple layers of oil paint to the canvas and shaping the thick application of paint with a palette knife and knife. Sonja Edle von Hoeßle, born in 1960, is also active as a sculptor. She studied Visual Communication at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences and the Würzburg University of Applied Sciences and has been exhibiting her work regularly both nationally and internationally since 1996.
