Janine is a strong personality, brimming with self-confidence. Her expressiveness is highlighted with pop-art-style splashes of color to capture the intense emotions and inner strength that arise from profound reflection. The bold, vibrant colors against the dark background symbolize the light and shadow sides of our personality. Janine, too, has different facets, both light and dark. Only she knows which predominates.

Lena Frey's artistic training began at the studio of Tolmachev MS, where she participated in exhibitions in Japan and Poland. After studying design and decoration, she traveled through various countries, experiencing inspiring stories and writing books and poems. These experiences led the artist back to painting, which for her is a form of expressing emotions—from love and joy to sadness. Using a palette knife, she captures feelings in spontaneous, dynamic strokes, without prior color planning or sketches. She experiments with styles and themes, often mixing seemingly incompatible elements, and paints almost daily. Her work has been exhibited in cities such as Paris, Rome, and New York.
