Image “Hurray!” (2023)
Hooray, at football, handball, basketball… wherever. The shared experience with everything that goes with it. The picture is half painted analogously and half digitally, then digitally merged on canvas, mounted on a 4 cm thick stretcher frame with a sturdy wooden cross on the back, and finally finished with acrylic paint.

Holger Mühlbauer-Gardemin is considered a promising newcomer in the art scene. He studied painting and graphic design in Bremen and subsequently worked for various agencies and publishing houses. He has been working as a freelance artist since 1996. His style blends familiar art movements to create something entirely new.
