Acrylic painting “True Colors No. 07” by Brigitte Yoshiko Pruchnow

The German-Japanese artist Brigitte Yoshiko Pruchnow lives and works in Munich. From 1992 to 1995, she worked as a comic artist and had several publications, including with Bizarr Verlag, Prinz München, and Comicstrich. She then completed a Master's degree in Japanese Studies, Art History, and Philosophy, graduating from the University of Television and Film Munich. Her studies in calligraphy, Chinese ink painting, and traditional Japanese painting at Nihonga with Aguri Uchida, as well as a Master Class in 2023 with Henrik Aa. Uldalen, further refined her work. Her paintings are exhibited in galleries and at art fairs throughout Europe, as well as in the USA, Japan, and South Korea.
