Abstract bronze sculpture “Infinite 44” (2024) by Yves Rasch

Yves Rasch, born in Hamburg in 1979, has been working as a freelance sculptor in wood and bronze since 2002. From 2004 to 2009, he studied under Erich Gerer and has regularly participated in national and international symposia and exhibitions since 2005. His sculptures express inner tensions and possess a palpable presence without being figurative. Rasch combines dynamism, tranquility, and harmony in his work, embodying movement within stillness. From different perspectives, his works constantly unfold new forms of expression. The wooden sculptures are created from solid blocks and, despite their size, radiate lightness and filigree; the bronzes are casts of these unique originals.
