Dmitry Oleyn, a maritime painter from Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, was born on August 8, 1979. He strives to convey warmth, tranquility, and honesty through his paintings. He recognized his artistic calling early on and attended the Dnipropetrovsk Art Institute from 1995 to 2000, where he held his first exhibitions and received awards for his contribution to Ukrainian culture. Moving to Kyiv in 2000 allowed him to study at the Kyiv Academy of Arts (NAOMA), graduating in 2008. During his studies, his creativity gained international recognition through invitations to exhibit in the USA, Germany, and other locations in Ukraine.
