Sensual bronze sculpture “Mar” by Manel Vidal

Born in Spain in 1953, the artist showed a passion for sculpture from a young age. Lacking family support, he initially worked in the textile industry. With the founding of the "Escuela de Artes y Oficios" in his hometown of La Pobla de Claramunt, he became its rector, a position he later relinquished to dedicate himself fully to his artistic career. His sculptures are characterized by dynamically moving figures, portraying humankind as the center of a continuous process of creation. Like the masters of ancient Greek art, he strives for truth and the origin of human existence, transforming primordial rock into works of unparalleled beauty and expressiveness.
