Metal sculpture “The Reader” by Birgit Stauch

Birgit Stauch's fascination with form and design was instilled in her from birth: as the daughter of a master sculptor and stonemason, she grew up surrounded by sculptures. Initially trained as a form designer, she also turned to sculpture and studied under renowned artists such as Arno Breker and Richard Alexander Agricola. Stauch worked for many years as a sculptor and designer in an art foundry while simultaneously pursuing her own freelance career. In 1996, she successfully established her own business.
