Manuel Nanouris, born in 1988 in Athens, Greece, is a dynamic artist currently living and working in London. His unique interpretation of contemporary techniques lends a special intensity to his focus on the male form and its beauty. Through powerful brushstrokes and the deliberate emphasis on his subjects' eyes, he succeeds in conveying emotion and depth. His innovative technique of combining oil paints with other materials has resulted in striking works that even incorporate condoms and other unconventional materials. From a young age, Manuel was surrounded by creative influences; his father, a respected sculptor from Athens, supported his passion and helped him realize his dreams. After completing his Master of Arts at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Athens in 2013, he continued his studies at the University of Barcelona, ​​where he was active in the Faculty of Fine Arts as part of the Erasmus program. Since then, he has been working internationally and presenting his work to a wide audience. His artworks could most recently be admired in Provincetown in 2022, in Miami Beach in 2021 and 2019, at the Parallax Art Fair in London in 2019, and at the Brick Lane Gallery in London in 2017.
