The art of Polish painter Tomasz Brynowski is characterized by a fascination with humanity, urban art, and the city itself. In his work, he often attempts to translate the image of a scribbled street art wall onto the canvas. City walls live a life of their own and never cease to change. They become endless urban canvases. His source of inspiration lies in the dark corners of Barcelona's Raval, the hidden walls of London's Shoreditch, or the warehouse walls of Brooklyn's Bushwick. The artist is also inspired by the legacy of artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Jackson Pollock, and Andy Warhol, but adds his own layer of street art and architectural style. Most of his pieces are inspired by specific places he has visited and the impressions he gathered there.
