About Daniel Engelberg
Daniel Engelberg (born 1979 in Munich) studied sculpture under Prof. Claus Bury at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg and was appointed a master student in 2008. In 2010, he continued his studies in sculpture under Prof. Hermann Pitz at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.
His works are inspired by material patterns, grids, and forms. Through his sculptural approach and reduction to the essentials, he creates seemingly two-dimensional works.
