Daniel Engelberg, born in Munich in 1979, studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg under Professor Claus Bury and was appointed a master student in 2008. He then continued his studies with Professor Hermann Pitz at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. His works are characterized by the inspiration of material patterns and grids and are created through a sculptural approach that emphasizes the essential. Engelberg creates impressive, seemingly two-dimensional works that are regularly presented in national and international exhibitions.
