This luminous abstract oil painting evokes a tranquil landscape at the moment when day turns to dusk. Soft veils of turquoise, blue, and warm sandy tones form the upper atmosphere. Meanwhile, a radiant burst of fiery orange and gold appears on the horizon, reminiscent of a setting sun shining through the mist. The lower half of the composition unfolds in layered horizontal strokes of blue-green, copper, and reflected light, creating the impression of water, distant land, and shimmering reflections.
