Friedensreich Hundertwasser: “The 30-Day Fax”, High-quality reproduction

In January 1992, Hundertwasser sent a DIN A4 fax every day for thirty days from the Antipodes/New Zealand to Vienna. The artist then mounted copies of these thirty faxes on canvas and painted them using mixed media. Hundertwasser saw this work as a great painterly adventure: "The subject matter is fairytale-like and like something out of a children's book. The dogmatic world of architecture refuses to acknowledge that the most humane architecture can be found in children's drawings and fairytale books."
