Christiane Wendt: Necklace “Torso of Adele” – after Auguste Rodin
The world-famous sculpture by Auguste Rodin, which symbolizes love and passion, has been translated by jewelry designer Christiane Wendt into a necklace of particular expressiveness that is both modern and timelessly classic.
The pendant is crafted from 925 sterling silver and plated with a thick layer of 24-karat gold. It comes with a 45 cm chain made of gold-plated 925 sterling silver. The pendant measures 2 x 4.2 cm.

1840-1917 - François-Auguste-René Rodin, the most important sculptor of the transition from the 19th to the 20th century, is considered a brilliant innovator of sculpture and, alongside Praxiteles, Michelangelo, Cellini, and Canova, ranks among the greatest sculptors of all time. His sculptural output is so extensive that a complete catalogue of his works has yet to be published. It would certainly comprise several hundred pages.
